SPRING TRAINING SERIES - PART 1

The Spring Series Part 1 is ideal for recreational riders looking to get into great cycling shape. The series starts with a moderate 25 mile ride with increasing distance over the three weeks to approx. 50 miles. All rides have a volunteer lead and sweep and no one will be left behind.

About this ride:

After a brief introduction we will split into riding groups and ride up the West Side Bike Path and over the GW Bridge. After a quick stop at Strictly Bicycles for those that need it we will continue to 9W with 3 destinations in mind according to preferred ride distance.

This ride helps determine ride speed/style for all series participants.  Don't miss it.

Week 2: Pancake House Ride

About this ride:

Meet in upper Manhattan.  After a short briefing, we'll head north and cross the GW bridge. Then cross 9W and head down hill to Knickerbocker Rd, swing around the bottom of Lake Tappan, and on to the Westwood Diner better known as The Pancake House. Return to NYC around the Oradell Reservoir and back through Tenafly. Ride ends at Strictly Bicycles.

Week 3: Rockland Lakes Ride

About this ride:

After a brief introduction we will split into two groups - and ride up the West Side Bike Path and over the George Washington Bridge.

From there  - we will have a quick stop at Strictly Bicycles before continuing on 9W.

From there there will be a scenic tour of Bergen County getting appropriate mileage in before a lunch stop at the Rockland Lake State Park.
