EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE RIDE

Each year during Pride Month we ride together to celebrate our freedom, diversity and equality. We celebrate who we are as a community, accept all and come together at a time when it's so easy to feel so alone. We Pride Together!

When?

Sunday, June 10, 2018. Check-in is open between 7 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Come early to meet your fellow riders, check out the cue sheets, and fuel up for the ride.

How Long?

Choose among 3 distance options, all of which start and finish in Manhattan:

100 Miles: A full century across Bergen and Rockland counties.
60 Miles: To Rockland County.
30 Miles: Ride in scenic Bergen County.

What Time Does My Ride Begin?

See tentative start times and the day's schedule HERE.

How Much?

Early Bird: Through April 15: $60
Regular Registration: April 16 - May 20: $70
Late Registration: May 21 - June 10: $85

Includes: the ride, SAG support and assistance on your route, as well as food at the start, rest-stops and finish festival.

Where?

The start is right off the West Side Bike Path at 145th Street — just north of Harlem Piers. The closest subway stations are the 145th street stations on the 1, A, B, C, and D lines. All routes go up the West Side Bike Path and over the George Washington Bridge – a beautiful view first thing in the morning! The routes will be clearly marked according to distance. The festival at the finish line will be on the banks of the Hudson River, right off the bike path between 145th and 150th Streets.

Will There Be Food?

Of course! There will be rest stops every 10 — 20 miles to keep you fueled up, a full-out lunch for 60 and 100 mile options at Rockland State Park, and a great, open buffet at the finish festival.

What If My Bike Breaks Down?

There will be bike maintenance at the rest stops, and a SAG vehicle to help you along the route. Emergency phone numbers will be provided on your cue sheet. No one gets left behind.

Any Safety Rules?

Yes. Bike Helmets must be worn while riding, no earbuds or headphones allowed, and all local traffic rules must be adhered to. Single file riding is not only the safest, it is also polite to your fellow cyclists! Be kind – ride behind.

Can I Ride On A Team?

Yes! You can create a new team or join an existing team when you register for the NYC Pride Ride. You can also join or switch teams on the Photos page after signing up.

And Afterwards?

Festival and food! At the finish area, there will be a picnic buffet, entertainment, and complimentary massages thanks to our friends at MMX Body Works.

Where / When Can I Pick Up My Rider Number / Bib / Jersey?

Rider numbers, bibs and jerseys (if you ordered one) will be available for pick up at the NYC Pride Ride kick-off party, to be scheduled closer to ride day (usually held Thursday eve before the ride). If you can't make the party, you can pick them up at check-in on ride day.

What Will The Weather Be Like?

Hopefully as great as years past, but we do ride rain or shine. Since most of our costs are incurred before the ride, we can not offer refunds or rainchecks due to inclement weather or for any other reason.

Anything Else?

Cue sheets will available at the start. We also upload the routes to RideWithGPS and will send out links to all riders prior to ride day. All routes will be clearly marked. OutCycling reserves the right to limit same-day registrations based on early registrations.
